Girls Night - This monthly social meeting is for ladies of working age. We usually meet in the evenings and participate in various activities such as Skittles night, craft evening, Bluebell walk, croquet and the annual Christmas Wreath Making.
If you would like a programme of events please contact Katrina Walton on firstname.lastname@example.org or for further information talk to Carolyn Laycock (pictured) on 01626 832335
Ladies at Leisure - This is a social group for women of retirement age, or thereabouts. We meet on the first Monday of the month, usually in the evening, but occasionally in the afternoon in the summer.
We have a theme to each meeting for example a meal, quiz, skittles, craft evening, film night, visit a garden. It’s very varied but the idea is for the members to meet socially and get to know each other better. It is especially useful for new members of the church.

Mother’s Union - This is an international Christian membership charity that aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of their communities worldwide. They work with people of all faiths and none in 83 countries to promote stable marriage, family life and the protection of children by praying, enabling and campaigning.
The members are not all mothers or even all women, they encompass young and old, single and married. Mother’s Union provides a network through which members can serve Christ in their community, through prayer, financial support and actively working in programmes that meet local needs.
This is an Ecumenical Group, currently of about 20 ladies which meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 2pm in PPT Church Rooms. The meetings consist of sharing news, a hymn, some prayers and a bible reading. Most months we have a speaker supplied by the Mother’s Union or from a local organisation. In July and August we have coffee morning / cream tea afternoon to raise funds for the Mother’s Union work worldwide.
